Fees, Insurance, and Payments

The Wellness within You accepts both in-network and out-of-network insurance, as well as private pay.  

The Wellness within You is currently in-network with the following insurance providers:

• Aetna

• Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield

• Connecticare

• Evernorth (Cigna)

• Husky/Medicaid

• Optum

• Oxford

• UMR

• United

If you have health insurance, it may cover mental health services in whole or in part.  Since all insurance policies are different, we recommend you contact your insurance provider before your first appointment in order to check your coverage. You may wish to consider asking the following questions:  

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

• What is my deductible per year and has it been met?

• Do I have out-of-network coverage?

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?  Is there a limit?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

• Will I have a co-pay for my therapy sessions?

• Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

• Is prior authorization required? If so, is there an authorization number that must be referenced?

• How do I access the forms required to request a reimbursement for out-of-network services?

If you are responsible for all or part of the cost of your session or co-pay, payment is expected at the time of service.  The Wellness within You accepts cash, check, and major credit card payments.
